Nominations are open for the first Yukon Sustainability Awards
(Whitehorse, Yukon) The Government of Yukon has announced that nominations are now open for the new Yukon Sustainability Awards. This series of green business recognition awards honours Yukon businesses that have proven their commitment to the creation of a more sustainable economy and to supporting the territory’s Our Clean Future strategy. Nominees will have shown themselves to be responsible leaders in integrating sustainable practices into their business models, with a dedication to Indigenous reconciliation and collaboration.
The deadline for nominations is December 15, 2023.
These awards are delivered through a partnership between the Government of Yukon and Environmental Careers Organization (ECO Canada). This partnership solidifies the territory’s place as a global leader in recognizing businesses with a dedication to sustainability and building a greener economy. Winners will be recognized at the 2024 ECO Impact Awards in Calgary.
